Glue for repairs, Krazy or Gorilla?

Had a little glue showdown with my buddy Alan the other day while fixing a hairline crack on the cap of his vintage sheaffer, I innocently pulled out my trusty krazy glue, fine tip, clean bond, dries fast and Alan just about fell out of his chair cos he's all about gorilla glue, says it's the strongest stuff on earth pffft. Sure, it's strong, but that foamy expansion? nahh thanks at least not on a delicate old pen. anyway we patched it with krazy in the end, but it got me wondering, what's your glue of choice for pen repairs?

Well I'm with you, Krazy glue's perfect for those delicate fixes, especially on pens and Gorilla's great for heavy-duty stuff, but not on vintage gear

Definitely lean towards a cyanoacrylate adhesive like Krazy Glue as well because of the clean bond and quick drying time without any of that expanding foam nonsense. Have you tried any of the specialized pen repair adhesives?

Krazy Glue is my go-to. I agree with this one, @Suh.brina. Those are two different things for two different uses. It's better if you know that by now.

I loooove Krazy Glue especially on vintage stuff where precision matters. Gorilla's great for rough jobs, but not for delicate ones. Sometimes I even use plastic welders like Plastiweld just to play it safe.
