I tried Bril Royal Blue through a giveaway and was genuinely impressed. It's a soft blue ink with smooth flow, quick drying, and nice shading, especially with broad nibs. It looks similar to Waterman Serenity Blue and works great for school or office use.

I haven't heard of Bril before but you piqued my curiosity!
I've been exploring subtle shading for my abstract patterns, so a soft blue like you're describing might be perfect.

Bril Royal Blue sounds like a solid choice.. Smooth flow, quick drying and subtle shading make it versatile, and if its close to Waterman Serenity Blue, its probably a safe pick for both school and office settings
